I have been restoring a Sharp MZ80k.
When I got the machine, it was missing a character ROM and the Z80 processor. I replaced the z80 and burnt a new 2716 character EPROM, and it seemed to work ok, however I could not load anything from tape. I then decided to removed a bunch (20+) of ugly and badly soldered jumpers and hacks from the back of the motherboard in the hope of returning it to a stock standard config. Unfortunately, upon power-up the screen now displays only random characters!!!!
I was hoping that someone here may have one of these machines and would be willing to photograph and send me a hi-res picture of the back of their motherboard. I worry that some of the wires I removed were actually installed at manufacture, and I removed them not knowing. I did photograph the board before pulling all the wires off, so at the very lease I can probably wire everything back how it was, and hopefully it will work again, but I'd rather not do that as I would prefer not to have any of these hacks (whatever it is they do?). Please email me at random6000( at )mac.com.
Cheers, and thanks in advance.

Hi,
may be this will give a tiny help:
http://8bit-museum.de/docs/sharp3b.htm
But it shows not the back side...
Another but a very hard way is to compare the PCB with the schematic diagrams (see the Service Manual on my site).
